How do I cancel or delete my account?


To cancel your free Credit.com account: 

Please submit your cancellation request here. Once your request is submitted we will assist you in deleting your account.  

If you have trouble accessing our request form, you can also email us at support@credit.com for help. Please send the email request to our support using the email address used to create your Credit.com account. 

Keep in mind that you will no longer have access to your Credit.com account history. 

 

To manage your ExtraCredit account: 

While logged in to your ExtraCredit account, you have the option to downgrade your service to a free Credit.com account by selecting the “person” icon in the upper right-hand corner of your page. Then select “My Account”, then select “Manage Service”.

Here are a few things to keep in mind now that your services have been downgraded.

  1.   You won’t have access to ExtraCredit after your next billing date, but you’ll still have access to your free Credit Report Card at Credit.com.
  2.    If you have rent and utility payments that began reporting to the credit bureaus, you will have 14 days to reinstate ExtraCredit services before your rent and utility payments will stop reporting. If you utilized the LOQBOX savings feature and would like to discontinuing, you will need to contact LOQBOX directly.

  3.   Account Monitoring, Dark Web Monitoring, and ID Theft Insurance will be stopped day of downgrade.
  4.   After your next billing date, you’ll only have access to your free VantageScore 3.0 from Experian that is updated every 14 days through Credit.com.
  5.   If you utilized RestoreIt with CreditRepair.com, your $24.99 discount on credit repair services will still continue unless you have cancelled with CreditRepair.com directly.

 

To Cancel your ExtraCredit account entirely:

Unsubscribe:

Closing your account will automatically unsubscribe you from all emails.  

If you'd like for your Credit.com account to remain active, but unsubscribe from our emailing lists, you can reach out to support@credit.com

Credit.com does not charge you for your free report card. If you see a charge on your bank statement or credit card, please double-check the name of the company that charged you as you will need to contact them directly to resolve the issue.
